SUMMARY: Incumbent will be responsible for converting products from flexo presses based on packaging instructions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Re-roll converted product from flexo presses into proper roll quantities and package accordingly.
- Read and understand re-roll production sheets and work orders.
- Program re-roll table according to product.
- Possess an understanding of quality and production standards
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Ensure a safe work area at all times.
- Create work orders for all flexo area jobs.
- Report any unsafe condition(s), injury or accident immediately to immediate supervisor or other member of management.
- Cross-train in other areas for flexibility to meet production needs
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management

Education And/Or Experience: High School diploma, GED, or 1-5 years of press experience. And/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with co-workers, and to follow instructions.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Superior trouble shooting skills
- Strong math skills
- Basic measurement skills (ruler, tape measure, calipers)

- Time Away: We observe 10 company-paid holidays per year and up to ten (10) days of accrued vacation time in the first year. Eleven (11) days at year two (2). Twelve (12) days at year three (3). You are fully vested on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. SATO will match 100%/dollar-for-dollar of your 401(k)-deferral amount of the first 3% of your pay and an additional match of 50%/$.50 on the next 2% of your pay. For example, if you defer 5% of your pay into the 401(k) Plan, SATO will make a 4% matching contribution.
